You probably do not need to tear it out
Most of the slabs we are called out to look at are structurally fine. They are stained, scaled, or cracked at the joints, and they look tired. That is a surface problem, and surface problems have a cheaper answer than a demolition crew.
Tear out and repour
- Break up the existing slab and haul it off the property.
- Form, pour, and finish new concrete in its place.
- Wait out the cure before anyone walks or drives on it.
- End up with grey concrete, which is where you started.
Resurface with CTi
- Repair the cracks and spalling, then clean and profile the slab.
- Bond a new CTi wearing surface directly over the concrete you have.
- Cut the pattern, work in the color, and seal it.
- End up with the finish you picked, on the slab you kept.
